Hey guys,
Alright, so yall probably already know by now that I love feedback. It let’s me know what I am doing right, what I can improve upon and (in most cases) just reminds me of why I started my company. What you might not know is that soliciting feedback is one the key strategies for business success. Let me explain.
First off, feedback comes in all shapes and sizes. It can be a review from a client, a reply to your questions on social media or even a survey that you sent to your email list. It is important to ask for feedback from your audience often to gather customer information and clarify why they continue to purchase from you, follow you, etc.
In doing so, you allow yourself the opportunity to become more useful to your audience. For example, if you conduct a questionnaire that asks things like:
-What is your name?
-Can I have your email?
-What do you do for a living?
-What’s your annual salary?
-Which of our ____(insert a type of service/product)____ is your favorite? Why?
Not only did you just get their contact information to ask further questions and send some audience-specific promotions, but you also helped your company. This SIMPLE questionnaire provides you with a lot of information that you can use to make continuous sales, attract more customers like the respondents and more! Here are some things that I would pull from answers to these questions…
-I would tally each response to see who my target market is. Am I attracting mostly single moms, engaged millennials? Young couples who are busy business owners? (Then use this to create content that spoke to them!)
-I can take into account their income level to set prices that are affordable for my audience.
-I can also look at what services/products were most enjoyed by the respondents to determine what they all have in common and make more like them!
See what I mean? Feedback allows you to continuously improve every part of your business from the products/services you create to how you market them. You boost sales, engagement and visibility! It is certainly a big piece in my client onboarding puzzle. ave
